How To Post Links
Return to the main links page.
Need to sign up as a user
To be able to post you have to sign up as a user. This is not linked to being an OCA member or a user of the OCA Forum. Even if you are an OCA member and/or a user of the OCA Forum, you will have to sign up as a user of the web site as well, if you want to post comments and links. You can also sign up as a user of the web site and post comments and links if you are not an OCA member and/or a user of the OCA Forum.
Updating links
If a link that you have posted changes in the years to come, it will be up to you to come back and post the new one. The OCA will not do this for you, and old links will not be deleted, so make sure when using the links to look at the newest postings first!
Making links clickable
You can use HTML code when posting links, but you do not need to do so to make the links clickable.
Simply posting the text:
Ohio Cichlid Association
http://www.ohiocichlid.com
Will show up like this:
Ohio Cichlid Association
http://www.ohiocichlid.com/
You only need to use HTML code if you want the link to appear like this:
In this case you need to post this:
<a href=”http://www.ohiocichlid.com/”>Ohio Cichlid Association</a>
If you didn’t know this already, you just learned HTML!
